German Red Cross officials visited PRCS office

PESHAWAR: The Desk Officer of German Red Cross (GRC) for Pakistan, Cartin Braun along with Head of Delegation, visited Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to discuss the ongoing activities of the organisation.

Secretary PRCS KP, Syed Ali Hassan presided over a meeting in which along with other officials of the organisation, the representatives of GRC were also present. On the occasion, Syed Ali Hassan lauded the assistance of GRC to PRCS KP in supporting the vulnerable segments of the province, adding that, the partnership between the two was well over a period 25 years.

He said that over 0.85 million people of Chitral, Shangla and Kohistan districts were provided health facility in 10 Basic Health Units run by PRCS KP in collaboration with GRC during the last four years.

On the occasion a souvenir was presented to Cartin Braun by Syed Ali Hassn, for her achievement in assisting the humanity.
