JI Deputy Chief Sirajul Haq was the chief guest at the public gathering where Fazle Rabbani, candidate for PK 27 and Sultan Muhammad aspirant for NA-10 and other JI office-bearers were also present. A large number of people from all walks of life attended the rally.

Some 351 families from UC Mady Baba, 118 Takkar, 138 Parkho Dery, 71 Persaddi, 59 Makori, 26 Jalala and 246 from Sherghar joined JI.

Addressing the public meeting, Sirajul Haq said that if JI came into power it would bring about a revolution, adding that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Awami National Party (ANP) had ruined the country. “They are responsible for price-hike, prolonged power cuts and the bloodshed in Federally Administered Tribal Areas and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province,” he alleged

He said during five years, PPP and ANP didn’t take any step to eradicate militancy from Fata and KP.

“Our government will give free education and treatment facilities to the poor people. We will arrange marriages of unmarried boys and girls and our government will bear the expenses if we came to power”, he expressed.

He mentioned that he had evidence against those persons who did corruption in last five years and whether he came in government he would unveil them and would be punished severely.

He said that PPP and ANP leaderships had worked for US and whether they came into power in coming general elections they would hand over Pakistan’s nuclear assets either to US or India.

“We have peaceful people in our party and we want peace in our homeland. In coming general elections people will support us as they know that the PPP, ANP and their allies in last government has even snatched their basic needs of life”, Fazl-e-Rabbani, former Minster for Excise and Taxation of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, said.
